Everyone’s at one table. Make it a book. |
Thanksgiving is November 26. For one day, the people you’d want in a family album are all in the same house, and most of them are sitting still for dinner.
So take more photos than usual. The kitchen before anyone sits down. The full table. The kid asleep on someone’s shoulder.
The weekend after, turn them into a photo book and print a copy for each household. Everyone was there, so everyone gets to keep it.
Never made one? We wrote a guide to laying out a book that looks polished, page by page.

Three photos to take on Thursday
Step back for the whole table, then move in close. A book reads better when the distance changes, and you’ll be glad you asked everyone to hold still for a second.

You’ll have eleven group photos. Keep one.
Find the frame with open eyes and the best light, then give it a full page. Five near copies of one moment flatten a spread.
Add words only when they help. A date, a place or a name is enough: “Grandma’s table, November 2026.”

The photos will already be on your phone, so you can start right there. Pick them from your camera roll and we’ll lay them out first. Then change a layout or add a caption.
Prefer a bigger screen? The web editor starts the same way, with your photos already laid out and a choice of layouts for each page.
